Senior employees get priority for preferred shifts, overtime opportunities, and time-off requests.
Mandatory Rest Periods
Enforce minimum hours between shifts (e.g., 8-12 hours off between consecutive shifts).
Overtime Distribution
Track overtime by employee and distribute it equitably according to CBA requirements.
Guaranteed Hours
Ensure union members receive minimum guaranteed hours per week or pay period.
Call-In/On-Call Pay

Seniority Configuration
Seniority in SimpleStaff is managed by adjusting each team member's rank in Team Settings. Higher-ranked members get priority for shift selection, overtime, and time-off requests.

Adjust Member Rank
Drag and drop members to reorder them, or use the rank field to set their position. Rank 1 is the most senior.

π‘ Tip: You can update member ranks at any time to reflect changes in your union seniority list or company policy.
